Giants (vs. Dodgers): I really like the Dodgers in this matchup. Los Angeles enters at 94-60 and just clinched another NL West title after beating Cincinnati 8-2 the other day.

The Giants are 64-90, and I think this is a particularly difficult matchup for them against a Dodgers team that just secured the division but still has plenty to play for heading toward October.

The pitching matchup is another reason I really like Los Angeles. Tarik Skubal is scheduled to start for the Dodgers and enters with a 2.70 ERA, while San Francisco had Logan Webb was scheduled to start but was sent to the IL. At the time this was written, it is undetermined who will be the starter for the Giants.

The Dodgers also have the home-field advantage and a lineup capable of putting up runs quickly.

Marlins (vs. Padres): San Diego has Casey Mize starting, and the Padres are coming off a 9-2 victory over Colorado. Miami has Eury Pérez on the mound, however, which gives the Marlins a legitimate chance.

Yankees (vs. Diamondbacks): This is one of the games where I like the Yankees but am not completely comfortable with the pick. Cam Schlittler has been excellent, posting a 1.95 ERA entering Saturday, and that gives New York a major advantage on the mound.

I feel confident about this game, especially with Cam on the mound. But, something in my gut tells me that the Arizona might win. Not sure why, just a feeling.
